PR ASSOCIATION DELIVERS ON THE FUTURE
For their 2003 annual congress,
Canada’s public relations practitioners put their view of the future
on the line, literally. For the first time, the national
conference of the Canadian Public Relations Society has been made
available on the Internet.... Following through on a recurring theme
of technology ... content available on the web in 26 video and audio
presentations.“We thought it was appropriate,” says Daniel Granger, ARP outgoing President of the Society. “We were ... talking about trends and the future of our profession. A big part of that concerns the benefits arising from digital technology and how we make use of it.” ... The presentations are available for a small charge and can be ordered as a complete suite or individually. (Note from BAK: non-members can buy in, too) The conference agenda can be viewed at http://cprs.ir-live.com
(Note
from BAK: You need to sign in to see the agenda, but it is easy. Or go
to the main CPRS web site and look around for a while, and you'll see
the agenda. It's easier to just sign in.) My first photograph of a Prime Minister
Photographed in the 1960's I first met Mr. Diefenbaker when I was about 12. I was visiting my aunt, down the street from where I lived in the summers, and Mr. Diefenbaker, not yet Prime Minister, dropped in to see her and have a cup of tea with us. Later, as I was beginning my career as a journalist, I photographed him several times, but thought all the prints had been lost. Then today I found this one of him with his wife. |
